Yoga to support, educate & empower you, as you journey into Motherhood

Pregnancy is a beautiful process of becoming ~ a time of embracing change, flowing to new rhythms and trusting in our innate feminine wisdom.

We'll set aside this precious time and space to gather as a small, intimate community, to support each other as we explore different ways to nourish and embrace your changing body, invite your attention inside, and practice powerful techniques to support your pregnancy and birthing experience, aligned to your needs and preferences.

This series will support you in connecting to your own bodily wisdom so that you can move through your pregnancy and into labour feeling calm, centered and empowered.

All levels are welcome - No previous Yoga experience necessary!

What to expect

Each 75 minute session will include:
  • A 10-15 minute chat on different Pregnancy related topics

  • A 60 minute gentle Hatha Yoga flow class suitable for the second and third trimesters,  including Asana (Yoga postures) to encourage stability, strength and space throughout the body

  • Breathwork & relaxation techniques for pregnancy and labour
    ​

  • Positive affirmations to empower your pregnancy and birthing experience

What are the benefits of Prenatal Yoga?

  • Precious, uninterrupted time for you to connect with your baby
  • Promotes deep relaxation, which calms the mind and nervous system through the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS), otherwise known as the relaxation response.
  • Helps to keep you active and feeling balanced throughout your pregnancy
  • Can help to relieve common pregnancy related symptoms, such as nausea, anxiety, low back pain and insomnia
  • Builds strength, both mentally and physically, to support you during pregnancy and in preparation for birth
  • Being a part of a small, intimate community that are sharing the journey of pregnancy with you!

​​These sessions are suitable for all levels of practitioner, from 12 weeks of Pregnancy, and safe for most women up until the day their baby arrives.

​A short health questionnaire will need to be completed before joining to ensure the sessions are suitable for the mother attending.

Hey! I'm Sophie and I'm passionate in sharing practices to make you feel strong, calm and at ease during your pregnancy and ready for your labour and birthing experience!

I am a prenatal & postnatal yoga teacher, specialising in yoga and holistic support for pregnancy, birth and early motherhood. I created this course to help you embrace your beautiful body and connect with your own wisdom during your pregnancy - sharing the knowledge and techniques that I used myself throughout my own pregnancy and during my labour and birth experience.
