Experience the powerful combination of restorative yoga and Reiki healing techniques, to surrender the physical body and activate your innate healing abilities.
This workshop will provide an opportunity to listen to your instincts and move with awareness ~ inviting you to choose whatever feels right for you in the moment.
Restorative yoga helps us to cultivate the art of conscious relaxation, using long-held, resting poses with the support of props to bring the earth up to us.
Reiki Healing is an ancient Japanese healing technique which helps us to access our parasympathetic nervous to encourage healing and relieve stress on both the mind and body, to bring us into a state of harmony and balance.
This practice will help to create a sense of spaciousness, support and safety ~ a feeling of being held ~ so that the mind and body can arrive into a space where they are able to be open and receptive, begin releasing unnecessary tension and drop into a state of deep relaxation.
We'll begin by exploring bodily awareness with some slow, gentle movements synced with our breath, before becoming still with Pranayama (Breath work) and a guided mediation practice to invite an inner awareness and receptivity into the body and mind.
A series of restorative yoga postures will help you to ground and release as you receive distance Reiki healing on different organs and energy points of the body, allowing you to surrender further into conscious relaxation.
We'll end with an extended Savasanah (resting pose) to allow for integration of the practice and provide space for ourselves to transition into the rest of our evening.

What to expect
Each 90 minute session will include:
A space for stillness to allow yourself to leave behind your day and fully immerse yourself into the practice
Nurturing restorative poses with the support of blankets, bolsters and blocks to promote healing and rest for your body, mind and heart
Pranayama (Breathwork techniques) to invite your body into a state of healing
A guided Yoga Nidra practice leading into an extended savasanah for deeper rest and integration
