The Postpartum chapter is one of renewal, integration and rediscovery.
Our whole being has been deep in creation for the last 9+ months, and now we transition into a new phase of acceptance & surrender. With our intuition as our compass, we'll embrace compassion for our magical bodies that created life, and be gentle with ourselves as we rebuild and embrace our new form in a safe and supportive way; to move in alignment, with awareness.
This yoga series is designed to support and rehabilitate the physical body with patience and care, so that we can aid our whole selves to repair and rejuvenate, however we gave birth. A big part of this series will also encourage time and space to tend to our mental and emotional needs ~ to fill our cup ~ so that we can support and care for ourselves and our loved ones with more tenderness and grace.
We'll explore Pranayama (breath work) to draw our awareness to the pelvic floor, to gently strengthen the core and lower back. A slow paced practice will invite fluidity and space into the whole body, to help relieve any aches and pains from daily movement patterns with your baby. Meditation, Yoga Nidra and restorative postures will also be included to allow for integration and deep rest.
Each 60 minute session will include:
An optional 5 minute welcome chat to connect and check in with each other, before we center and ground ourselves ready to practice
A slow paced flow to encourage increased mobility, space and strength throughout the body
Breathwork to enhance focus, rehabilitation and strenghtening of the core and pelvic floor muscles
Meditation, yoga nidra & journal prompts to allow for deep rest, integration and reflection

Fridays 11am - 12pm - Online These sessions are suitable for all levels of practitioner, from 6-8 weeks postpartum - a short health questionnaire will need to be completed before joining to ensure the sessions are suitable for the mother attending. All information will be kept confidential. Babies are also welcome to join the online sessions
